Vaccine Policy
Protecting Children, Together
OUR APPROACH TO VACINNES
At Kennesaw Pediatrics, our greatest responsibility is protecting your child’s health, today and for every stage to come. We believe vaccines are one of the most powerful ways to prevent serious illness and help children grow up healthy and strong. Guided by both scientific integrity and compassion, we approach every conversation about immunizations with care for each family we serve.
The vaccine schedule we follow is based on decades of careful research by trusted experts at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Thanks to vaccines, many illnesses that once caused serious harm or even claimed the lives of children—such as polio, meningitis, and rubella—are now rare or nearly eliminated.
We also know that parenting is full of hard decisions, and every family’s journey is unique. It’s natural to have questions or concerns about vaccines, and we welcome those conversations. Our role isn’t to judge. Our role is to walk alongside you with up-to-date medical information, thoughtful guidance, and genuine support as you make the best choices for your child.
No matter your child’s vaccination status, we are here for you.
We respect your role as a parent and are honored to be part of your child’s care. Our doors are always open for honest, caring conversations because your child’s well-being means the world to us.
If you choose to delay or decline vaccinations, we’ll ask you to sign a vaccine refusal form at the time of your visit. This ensures we document your preferences clearly while continuing to provide safe, informed care for your child and our community.
Thank you for trusting us with your child’s health. It’s a privilege we don’t take lightly.
